HNT Gordon and Co. Classic Plane Makers Australia was established by Terry Gordon in 1995 after several years of development work. They make beautiful hand planes, spokeshaves and other woodworking tools using premium materials including beautiful and very hard Australian Hardwoods such as gidgee.
They not only make high quality tools, but also put a lot of thought into the design and ergonomics of what they are making; often taking the best ideas from traditional tools, but not being afraid to go in different directions or make extensive changes if they think there is a benefit.
