This turning tool set includes 4 interchangeable 170 mm long steel tool shafts, with square, curved, round and diamond/parting shaped carbide cutters. The 270 mm long aluminum handle has a collet that allows the cutters to be quickly changed out.
When the carbide cutters start to get dull, they can be rotated to expose a fresh cutting edge. Once all the available cutting surfaces on a carbide insert are dull, it is possible to resharpen them using a diamond sharpening stone, however we also stock replacement carbide cutters which are available for a very reasonable price.
The complete turning set is supplied in a wooden box with foam insert.
