Narex Chisels are made in the Czech Republic and are an exceptional value for the price. The blades are made from fine-grained, chrome-manganese steel and hardened to Rc 59, and hold an excellent edge. The blades are accurately ground and have a slimmer cross section with lands (edges) of about 1 mm. These skew chisels are available in widths of 6 mm and 12 mm, and with both right and left orientations. The blade is ground at a skew angle of 30° and with a 25° Bevel.
These skew chisels are ideal for cleaning the corners of dovetails. Blades are 4 ¾” long. Handles are stained hornbeam and are 5 1/4” long, 1 1/4” in diameter and have a brass ferrule. Overall length is 10”.
