Narex Chisels are made in the Czech Republic and are an exceptional value for the price. The blades are made from fine-grained, chrome-manganese steel and hardened to HRC 59, and hold an excellent edge.
Paring chisels have long blades for extra control when removing small amounts of material when fitting joints and performing other delicate tasks. They are normally pushed by hand and not used with a mallet. Bevels are ground at a 25 degree angle. Handles are stained Hornbeam. Blades are held in the handles with steel tangs and brass ferrules.
